The Government of Saskatachewan’s First-Time Homebuyers’ Tax Credit provides a non-refundable tax credit of up to $1,050. On the provincial income portion, the tax credit amount is 10.5% of the home purchase price up to $10,000 of the home purchase price, which gives a provincial tax credit of up to $1,050. For the federal income portion, the tax credit is 15% of up to $5,000 of the home purchase price, which gives a federal tax credit of up to $750.
Both new and existing/resale homes are eligible. To qualify, you must occupy the home within one year.

Saskatchewan’s Graduate Retention Program provides rebates of up to $20,000 on tuition fees for graduates who live in Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan's First Home Plan allowed graduates to use up to $10,000 of their Graduate Retention Program tax credits as a down payment towards their first home. The First Home Plan is no longer available.

The City of Saskatoon’s Mortgage Flexibilities Support Program helped homeowners with a 5% down payment grant towards select entry-level housing properties. Your household income must be lower than $88,635, or lower depending on your household. This down payment support program is no longer available.
