  • WOWA Leads Inc. ("WOWA Leads", "WOWA", "we", "us", "our" or the "Company").

  • Our Website, Platform, and all information, software, and services associated with it (collectively, the "WOWA Platform", "our platform", or the "Services").

  • You as any individual or entity that accesses, browses, or uses the WOWA Platform in any manner ("you", "your", or “users”).

  • Agents, mortgage brokers, mortgage brokerages, lenders, and any other third-party provider of products and services (“Vendors”).

It is always your choice whether or not to provide Personal Information but if you choose not to provide certain requested Personal Information, in some instances you may not be able to access or use all the features of our platform. What We Collect

While using our Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. We will ask for your consent if we wish to use your Personal Information for purposes other than those listed in this privacy statement, or if we are required to do so under applicable law.

Information we collect automatically on the WOWA platform

We will collect Personal Information about you when you interact with our websites and services. A visit to one of our websites results in data being sent from your browser to our servers. The information we collect in this way includes:

  • Your IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form)
  • The date and time of the visit and how long you remained on our website.
  • The pages you visited on our website;
  • The referral URL (the site from which you came to our website);
  • Information about the device and browser you used to visit our website (including browser type and version, operating system, etc.).

Information we collect through third-party platforms

We may use a third-party such as Google Analytics to help us gather and analyze information about the areas visited on our website and user behaviour. Metrics include but are not limited to approximate user location, pages most read, time spent, search terms, cursor movements, field entries, and other engagement data). We use this information to evaluate and improve the user experience and Our Services. We use Microsoft Clarity in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Microsoft Clarity is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behaviour and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Microsoft may use this data to provide Microsoft Advertising, and you can find out more about their privacy policy on the Microsoft Privacy Statement page. Amongst other methods, you can opt-out of interest-based advertising by visiting the Microsoft opt-out page and control your collected Personal Data through the Microsoft privacy dashboard.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some parts of our Services.

How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Request Forms: If you request for a Vendor to contact you for more information about a certain third-party product or service listed on our Website, you may be required to input certain further Personal Information, such as name, contact information, address, and other information that you may choose to provide. If you submit such a request form, we will send the information contained in the form as well as information we have gathered about you during your visit, including search preferences and information provided in our online tools, to the applicable Vendor and you hereby consent to us sharing your Personal Information with the Vendor. They, in turn, may share your Personal Information with other parties, which we may not have any knowledge of. Any Personal Information we provide to Vendors will be treated in accordance with the terms of their own Privacy Policy, which you should read or inquire about. We will not be responsible in any way for how any Vendor treats your Personal Information.

  • Online Tools: We may offer tools such as a mortgage calculator, property tax calculator, stress test calculator, and mortgage affordability calculator. If you use these tools, we collect information that you provide (such as your income, expenses, mortgage amounts, etc.) in order to provide you with the features and functions of the tools. Unless you provide consent, none of the information provided will be shared with any other users of the Website or Services.

  • Location Information: Some of the calculations used in our tools will change depending on location. Therefore, we may ask for your location and the location of your desired properties or current properties by requesting a postal code, province, city, and/or address. We may also attempt to identify your location through your IP and the use of a third-party service. No Personal Information is sent to the third-party service.   • Statistics: We also collect statistics about your use of our Services as well as of third-party products and services that you request information about through the Website. This information will be kept confidential, however, aggregate statistics that do not personally identify an individual will be kept by us and such aggregate statistics may be made available to other members or third parties.

  • Re-Targeting: Our Website uses re-targeting technologies. This enables us to show our visitors, who have already visited or used our Website, advertisements from us on third-party websites. We believe that the display of personalized, interest-based advertising is more interesting and relevant to our customers than advertising that does not have a personal connection. Re-targeting technologies analyze the information we collect about your interactions, including your cookies, and display advertisements based on your past web-surfing behaviour. Retention of Your Personal Information

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as it remains necessary for the identified purpose or as required by law, which may extend beyond the termination of our relationship with you. We will retain and use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. If you request that your name be removed from our databases, it may not be possible to completely delete all your Personal Information due to technological and legal constraints.

Even when deleted, your Personal Information may still be retained by our Vendors and the third parties we work with. It is up to you to contact them and refer to their privacy policies to remove your data. We have no legal obligation to assist you in doing so and cannot guarantee that you will be able to delete your Personal Information.

Security:

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain your Personal Information in a secure environment. We take technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps designed to protect Personal Information that you provide to us.
