Coast Capital Savings

Coast Capital Savings is a credit union located in British Columbia. It was founded in 2000 through the merger of Pacific Coast Savings Credit Union and Richmond Savings Credit Union. It primarily serves BC residents.

Coast Capital Savings is a British Columbia–based federal credit union headquartered in Surrey, with roots reaching back to the 1940s. It took its current shape through the 2000 merger of Pacific Coast Savings and Richmond Savings, followed by Surrey Metro Savings in 2002, and later became the first British Columbia credit union to operate as a federal credit union, allowing it to serve members nationally. In 2026, Coast Capital merged with Prospera Credit Union and Sunshine Coast Credit Union, which now operate under the combined brand Prospera and Sunshine Coast Financial. Coast Capital offers personal and business banking, mortgages, lending, investments, and financial advice, and was an early proponent of free everyday chequing. Member deposits are insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC).
