Compass Credit Union is a credit union located in Manitoba. It was founded in 2018 through the merger of Crocus Credit Union and Erickson Credit Union. It primarily serves Brandon and western Manitoba.
Compass Credit Union was formed in January 2018 through the merger of Erickson Credit Union and Crocus Credit Union. Erickson Credit Union was founded in 1952 in Erickson, Manitoba. Crocus Credit Union originated in Brandon in 1952 as Brandon Terminal Credit Union Society, which was established by employees of Canadian Pacific Railways.
The merger combined two western Manitoba credit unions with histories in rural community banking and workplace based cooperative finance.
Today, Compass serves members in Brandon, Erickson, and surrounding communities. It offers personal, business, and agricultural banking, borrowing, mortgages, investments, credit cards, and related financial services.
