Southwest Regional
Southwest Regional Credit Union is a credit union located in Ontario. It was founded in 1995 through the merger of Moore Credit Union and Imperial Credit Union. It primarily serves Southwestern Ontario.
Southwest Regional Credit Union traces its roots to May 1939, when a church group in Moore Township, Ontario, formed a local credit union later known as Moore Credit Union. Over time, it expanded into Corunna and Sarnia through organic growth and mergers.
In 1995, Moore Credit Union amalgamated with Imperial Credit Union to form Southwest Regional Credit Union. Wallaceburg Community Credit Union joined in 1997, followed by Holy Family Catholic Parishes Credit Union in 2003.
Today, Southwest Regional serves members across Lambton and Chatham Kent counties through locations in Sarnia, Corunna, Wyoming, and Wallaceburg. It offers personal, business, and agricultural banking, borrowing, mortgages, investments, wealth management, and related financial services.
