2023: $5,303 Billion

Above numbers include both domestic and international deposits. The 2003 data doesn't include National Bank as its information was unavailable.

Top performer: TD with 555% growth in 20 years.
King 👑: RBC has been always the first.
Least growth: CIBC

Main reason for TD success may lie in their expansion in the U.S. by acquisition of:

  • Banknorth in 2004
  • Commerce bank in 2008
  • South Financial in 2010

and some small ones such as Riverside National Bank of Florida.
